Joseph Hubertus Pilates (9 December 1883 – 9 October 1967) was a German physical trainer notable for having invented and promoted what became known as the Pilates method of physical fitness. (Which he called 'Contrology')
To get your energy and freedom of movement back.
To undo the deleterious effects of a sedentary lifestyle. (With particular reference to the epidemic of back ache).
A series of exercises designed to work all the muscle groups in your body proportionately and in sync.
It worked for me and I have had many others say the same. See the 'My Pilates Journey' and 'Reviews' pages.
You can perform the exercises anywhere at a time of your choosing. It should take about 45 minutes to an hour. No equipment is required. Good for those with tight schedules.
